Vision Conference Day 3: Afternoon Session 1

Speaker: Siamah Lun Pi — Soaking in the Presence of God

P.R.A.Y.

Praise – When we praise, we are praising God.

Repent – Repentance.

Ask – Asking for what we need and want from God.

Yield – Yield to God. Surrender to Him.

Let’s set aside what we’ve learned for a moment and simply come into the presence of God and soak in it.

Let’s open our hearts to Him.

————————————

In Exodus, Moses climbed Mount Sinai to receive the Ten Commandments from God. He had to climb up by himself. A cloud covered the mountain, and it was filled with God’s glory. Not everyone could be in that presence—only Moses.

In order to be in God’s presence, he had to climb up and remain there for 40 days.

But in the New Covenant, by the grace of God, we don’t have to climb up. We don’t have to work our way to receive the presence of God or to see His glory.

Because the glory itself is Jesus—who came down to earth, full of grace and truth.

If we were living in the Old Covenant, we would not be able to enter the presence of God.

But He came down—from a perfect place to an imperfect place, from heaven to earth—so that we can be in the presence of God anytime and anywhere.

————————————

In Genesis, God created you and me from the dust.

When He breathed into the nostrils, man became alive. Our life on earth is not permanent—it is temporary.

Why should we surrender to God?

He is our Creator. Without Him, we are just dust—nothing without Him.

————————————

His love is perfect—an unconditional love.

The world says:

“Do this, and I will reward you.”

God says:

“I have already done everything for you—come and receive.”

There are no conditions in His love. His love is perfect and unconditional.

We often try to define who we are by the love we receive—or the love we didn’t receive.

We depend so much on people.

But in the midst of all that, Love came down.

He gave us grace and unconditional love that is sufficient for you and me.

Nothing else will ever satisfy us except His love.

There is a difference between knowing God and having Him in your heart and life.

Only He can satisfy us and make us whole.

————————————

Nothing is more important than the presence of God.

The presence of God is greater than any money, fame, or name.

By the grace of God, we can receive His presence any day, anytime, anywhere.
