We are fighting battles every day in our life.
• Ephesians 6:10–14
We’re fighting against evil, the enemy. Not against flesh and blood. We’re not fighting each other; we’re fighting the evil thing. If you’re going out, you can’t have your armor at home. You are fighting everything, so carry it with you.
What are you fighting against?
— Temptations
If you don’t have your armor on, you will lose. Sometimes the battle happens around us, but sometimes it’s inside of us.
The purpose of the armor is not to protect our flesh and blood, but our spirit and soul.
Don’t try to fight with your own strength. Stand on His mighty power.
Fight the Right Battle
You try to fight your friend, not the battle. So make sure you fight the right battle.

— Foundation: sand vs. rock
The person who built his house upon a rock stands on a firm foundation. Jesus is our firm foundation. We stand on His grace.
When you don’t like yourself, He will never fail you.
If you stand on the rock, Jesus, you still have peace. Sometimes you feel like you’re losing, but you still have peace because you have Jesus.
Breastplate = Righteousness
Would you believe Jesus as your Lord and Savior? You have righteousness.
The breastplate covers your heart. It protects your heart because it’s easy to attack you there.
If you think you don’t have righteousness, you don’t have the breastplate.
The enemy will attack your heart, so stand on His righteousness.

Belt = Truth
A belt means secure, feel safe.
The belt = truth.
If you have the belt, you know the truth, so you’re secure. If you don’t know the truth, you’ll follow the world.
You don’t need to follow the world. Stand in the truth when you know the truth.
You can use the Bible, but Jesus can also say, “It is written,” and fight back with the Word.
Your foundation is on Jesus, so put on your armor. Put on the breastplate and the belt.
Stand on Jesus. Stand on His righteousness. Stand on the truth.
