Waiting Well
📖 Isaiah 40:31
“But those who trust in the Lord will renew their strength;
they will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not become weary,
they will walk and not faint.”

Waiting is one of the hardest things we go through. Whether you’re waiting for answers, change, healing, or direction—it can feel frustrating and slow.
Sometimes it even feels like God is silent.
But the Bible teaches us that waiting isn’t about doing nothing—it’s about trusting God while He’s working.

Analogy: Healing Takes Time
Waiting on God is a lot like having a wound or being sick.
At the beginning, it hurts the most. It’s uncomfortable, frustrating, and all you want is to feel better immediately. But healing doesn’t happen instantly—it’s a process.
Even when you can’t see it, your body is working behind the scenes to restore you.
And if you rush it—like picking at a wound or quitting medicine too early—you can actually delay the healing or make it worse.
In the same way:
• Waiting can feel painful
• It can seem like nothing is changing
• You might want to rush ahead of God
But God is doing deep, unseen work in you.

Just like healing, the process is the hardest part—but it’s also the most important part.
God isn’t delaying you—He’s preparing you.
Think about:
• Joseph — waited years before stepping into his purpose
• David — anointed king but waited before becoming king
• Abraham — waited decades for God’s promise
Their waiting wasn’t wasted—it was preparation.

• Stay connected to God – keep praying, even when it feels quiet
• Stay faithful – keep doing what’s right
• Stay patient – trust that God’s timing is better than yours
